Our personal trainers lead exercises and training programs for individuals, small groups and professional sports people. They show clients how to make the most of exercise and routines and assist clients while they are learning. These trainers analyse what the client can do to match a fitness program to their abilities, which will maximize their results. Personal trainers work with a variety of clients throughout the day which means they must be physically fit to exercise all day. They motivate clients and listen to create fitness plans that will fit each client based on what they want or need. Personal trainers can advance onto head trainers or build their own fitness business.

Personal Trainer

JOSH BROWN

I’ve been in the Sport and Fitness industry for 7 years now. I’ve gained an extensive knowledge over the years by participating in a range of high level sports. Playing sports has given me a great understanding of dedication and discipline and the focus needed to achieve results.

Understanding the fundamentals of strength and conditioning has helped me gain a vast amount of experience in meeting clients’ needs, from weight loss to muscle growth as well as training adjustments and modifications.

I am extremely passionate about the education of fuelling your body correctly through healthy eating and nutrition. I take time to understand your lifestyles and make achievable changes to get results you want to see.

My training sessions are very challenging and I will push your body to adapt, improve and develop not only physically but mentally. I’ve learnt that with a positive mind,, drive and desire any goal can be reached. That’s why I will work with you to make you want to achieve as much as I do.

RUTH HAWKER

I have a passion for helping people achieve their maximum potential, using therapeutic tools and hypnosis. I have worked with clients (including referrals from GP Practices) to make positive life changes. Learning about the human mind has given me the knowledge and skill to help others. I understand how hard it can be to make changes without support.

My approach is always centred on the belief that my clients have a the solutions within themselves, and it is my role to help locate this solution and work towards making it a reality.

Accredited training and qualifications:
Psychology, Counselling, Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. Training includes diplomas in specialist hypnotherapy treatments.

Memberships: 
British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
 General Hypnotherapy Standards Council.
